Milwaukee has just unveiled a new line in bolt cutters, available in sizes 36 cm and 61cm. Milwaukee would not be Milwaukee if it didn’t invent. They did this again with extendable arms for their bolt cutters, which they call POWERMOVE. The extendable arms allow the handles to extend thus giving the user more leverage. More leverage equals easier cutting action.
Some bolt cutters do not have extendable arms. At the time of writing they offer 4 bolt cutters, two regular bolt cutters in 14 and 61 cm and two extendable arm bolt cutters under the POWERMOVE name in 14 and 61 cm sizes.
According to Milwaukee, the 36 cm regular bolt cutters are available now while we have to wait until May 2022 for the 61 cm regular model and wait until July 2022 for the two POWERMOVE extendable arm versions.

MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool continues to expand their Hand Tool offering with the addition of Bolt Cutters. The new bolt cutters come in 36cm and 61cm sizes. They are made with forged steel blades, which will not rust and provide longer service life. Two adaptable bolt cutters are included with POWERMOVE Extendable arms, which allow the user to extend their arms for greater power and versatility.
When it comes to bolt cutters, the durability of the jaws and bolts are everything to the user.
