Milwaukee continues to expand their concrete forming tools with the addition of a new M18 Fuel Concrete Pencil Vibrator and it comes in two varieties with a 1.2 m ( 2910-21 ) and 2.4 m ( 2911-21 ) variant of the same tool.

Concrete is vibrated using pencil vibrators to allow it to settle. A vibrating rod is attached to the base of the tool by a hose. These tools are typically electric which requires an extension cord or gas engine which has its own drawbacks like gas fumes, pull starting, maintenance, consumables, and the list goes on however there are also battery powered options. Milwaukee isn’t the only brand to create a battery-powered concrete pencil vibrator. Other brands, such as Makita and Dewalt, have also done so with their 18V/20V systems. Milwaukee’s 18V model, however is a FUEL tool. This means that it has a brushless motor. Milwaukee says their M18 Fuel model can generate up to 1.8 peak HP which they claim delivers up to three times more power than comparable cordless pencil vibrators.
The vibrating motor can produce up to 12,500 VMP. It can also run on up to 20YDS3 concrete per charge, which is equal to 30 x 35x 15 cm slabs or 10 light pole bases using a HO 6.8 ah battery pack. Variable speed trigger is available at 0-12,500 VPM. It uses a 3-cm square head. Milwaukee offers two versions of the Milwaukee 1.2m and 2.4m hoses, as described in the outro. You can buy them as baretools, or complete kits that include a HO 6.8ah battery and a rapid charger. Below are the prices. According to Milwaukee, they will be available in early 2022.
